Description
Overview
Ultratop-So is a water-based sodium silicate solution used to densify and dustproof concrete surface. It chemically reacts within concrete and becomes an integral part of surface, making treated concrete denser and easier to maintain.

Application Procedure
- Preparation of substrate
- Make sure completely dry surface before application
- Remove weaken part and repair it.
- If more than width of 3mm cracks, fill it with proper products or injection one.
- The surface must be clean without dust, oil, laitance, etc.
- Condition
- Apply under surface temperature of 5~35℃
- Avoid very hot day, freezing day, rainy day or windy day as this product tends to evaporate or freeze easily.
- Application
- Spray it with low-speed sprayer to saturate the surface.
- Sweep it out with dry cloth or sponge where this product is collected in one spot.
- White powder may appear if over applied
- In 12 hours/25℃, apply SM-HS sealer, which can be considered an option to improve surface protection.
- In 3~4 hours/25℃, proceed with SMB: SM burnishing machine, which can be chosen by user for better effect.
- Dry Time
- Within 72 hours after treated, keep the surface off water.
- At least 7 Days need to dry it completely although surface dry completes within 1~2 hours.
- In case of painting epoxy or urethane on it, 15-day dry time and paint not including thinner are required.

24 months if unopened and at 5℃ ~ 35℃
Health and Safety Precaution
- Wear protective clothing, gloves, eye protection and dust mask during work.
- In case of contact with skin or clothing, wipe off with a cloth and wash with soap and water.
- If the product is swallowed, inhaled or gets in eyes, wash it off with plenty of clean water and seek medical advice immediately.
- Provide ample ventilation when working with the product in confined spaces.
- No naked flames, cigarettes or matches should be allowed near the products.
- Dispose of waste and residues in accordance with local authority requirements.
- In all cases, users should refer to the most recent the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) before use.
