Description

Application
  • New building or repainting area where sulfuric acid or chemicals are used.
  • Repainting or resurfacing of existing steel or concrete structure requiring acid and alkaline resistanc
  • Highly corrosive areas with poor ventilation such as steel water pipe in basement.
  • Steel or concrete surface in semiconductor facilities, electronics factories, plating factories, battery factories, bottling plants, food factories, chemical laboratory requiring acid and chemical resistance

 

Technical Data
  • Main component : modified epoxy resin, proprietary hardener.
  • Recommended thickness : 250㎛ (3 coats)
  • Technical consumption : 0.275kg/㎡/250㎛ - transparent.
  • Density : 1.1 (transparent)
  • Solid content (weight ratio) : about 60% (±2%)
  • Pot life : 3 hrs.
  • Tack free time : 6 hrs. (25℃)
  • Curing time : 15 hrs. (25℃)
  • Mixing ratio (weight ratio) : component A : component B = 2 : 1 (transparent)
  • Tools : roller, airless spray gun or brush

 

Application Procedure
  • Preparation of substrate
    • Blasting for steel is recommended to SSPC SP-10(SIS Sa 2.5) specification.
    • The substrate should be free of oil, dirt or any other contaminations that would affect bond strength.
  • Base layer : 1 layer
    • Blend two components with an electric mixer in the correct proportion and apply with roller, airless spray gun or brush.
  • Top layer : 1 ~ 2 layer
    • AAfter initial dry time of the base coat, blend two components in the same method and apply top coat depending on desired thickness.

 

Health and Safety Precaution
  • Wear protective clothing, gloves, eye protection and dust mask during work.
  • In case of contact with skin or clothing, wipe off with a cloth and wash with soap and water.
  • If the product is swallowed, inhaled or gets in eyes, wash it off with plenty of clean water and seek medical advice immediately.
  • Provide ample ventilation when working with the product in confined spaces.
  • No naked flames, cigarettes or matches should be allowed near the products.
  • Dispose of waste and residues in accordance with local authority requirements.
  • In all cases, users should refer to the most recent the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) before use.

 

Storage
Stored products above 5℃ in unopened original containers protected from sunlight and frost.

 

Shelf life
8 months (stored away from moisture and direct sunlight)
